New Life for an Old Box

This old fruit box was $5 at the peddler's mall!
I love it....It's going to get a coat of crackle paint and then a
beautiful coat of white paint! It will look perfect in my living room.....

A Spring Day at the Park

It was a beautiful spring day today, so we met some friends
at the park! I couldn't help but take pictures
of my two CuTiEs!

Playset

The kids have had their play-set for a couple years now and the weather has
gotten the best of its looks. As I was sitting outside watching the kids play one day I
got a GREAT IDEA!!!
Why not paint a couple a sections of the play-set and make it super
CUTE! This is all I have done so far... Pictures to follow as
I get further along.

The Patio

Nate and I have a real love for projects and fixing up our house!
And I have tons of little projects or ideas that keep Nate on his toes!
It doesn't help that we are totally addicted to
DIY and HGTV!
Since we spend a great deal of time outside,
either entertaining or playing with the kids, we have
always wanted to cover a section of the patio....

Nate and I added the lights and spruced up the
patio furniture!

The patio furniture was brown and with beautiful
new cushion my mom bought it did not look right
so a couple of cans of Rust-Oleum's Black patio paint and they look brand new!
I will post some close up pictures! The paint was an easy way
to make our furniture look brand new, I highly recommend it!

Love seat

I love this bench! and I must give all the credit to my mom!
Funny story we drove all the way to Louisville to what
was suppose to be a great flea market.....umm it was closed :(

We didn't want to waste the drive so we found a peddlers mall.
It was painted this very cool off white color.
I think it will look lovely in my garden!

I added our last name and the sunflower, I almost done when
Madison asked if she could put her hand on it....
How I could so no.
